Does Daylight Savings impact ‘FREE LUNCH’?

We have been delighted, overwhelmed, and humbled by the feedback for our FreeLunch product. Our customers have produced novel and innovative ways to shift their power use.

Be mindful that most electricity meters are set to use Eastern Standard Time. So, if you have any electronic energy management systems set up and, it might be worth a quick check of the time settings you may have set up, and you keep getting the best value out of your energy plan.

Daylight saving occurs in Victoria on the 2^nd October.
GloBird will update our “clock” on the 1^st of October.

Free Lunch will still be Noon to 2pm local time. Nothing changes to ensure you still get free energy at the right times even if your meter might displays eastern standard time.
