Sign-up Bonus T&Cs
Eligiblity
- To be eligible for the sign-up bonus (bonus) you must:
- sign-up online on an energy plan you sign-up on offers a bonus;
- and be a New Residential Customer at the time of the sign-up
- The bonus is not available to employees or channel partners of GloBird
Conditions
- The bonus amount is inclusive of GST and will be specified in the Agreement and presented at the time of sign-up
- The bonus cannot be redeemed for cash, refunded or be used in conjunction with any other sign-up credit, cash incentive or special promotion offered by GloBird
- The bonus is only available as an account credit and will apply in the month specified in the Agreement and presented at the time of sign-up, determined from the time GloBird starts selling you Energy at the Premises
- You must remain on the same energy plan you signed-up on up until the time the bonus is due to be credited to your account
- You should have received at least one bill at the time the bonus is due to be credited to your account
Definitions
Agreement means the relevant energy retail agreement entered between GloBird and the customer for the sale of Energy at the Premises.
Energy means either electricity or gas
GST has the meaning given in the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth)
New Residential Customer means a person who:
- purchases Energy principally for personal, household or domestic use; and
- in relation to the Premises, has not had any account (individual or joint account) for the same Energywith GloBird in the 12 months preceding the sign-up date, regardless of whether the account iscurrently active or not.
When assessing if a customer is deemed to be a New Residential Customer, GloBird will compare the customer(s) name, phone number, email address, premises address, National Mete r identifier (NMI), Meter Installation Registration Number (MIRN), meter number or any similar details with GloBird’s records.
Premises means the premises specified in the Agreement
