Why GloGreen is Growing Popular | GloBird Energy

When we started GloBird Energy, we were determined to make an impact on energy retailing, if only by creating a more competitive environment.

We wanted to offer the best value possible for as many people as we could, knowing that was the best way to keep all our competitors – even the big boys – on their toes.

The industry and consumer feedback has been that we’ve ticked that box pretty firmly.

Over the past few years, we’ve expanded our focus to what some might see as even more ambitious goals, including becoming a stronger advocate for the transition to energy from renewable sources.

Earlier this year, we introduced GloGreen, our 100% carbon offset energy plan.

We’ve been extremely gratified at how quickly it has become popular with our customers.

We’re absolutely delighted that GloBird has been named the WeMoney 2022 Energy Retailer of the Year, specifically recognising GloGreen.

While we try to do what’s best, whether anyone notices or not, it’s always rewarding to be recognised for our efforts – whether that’s by the industry, media, comparison sites, or consumers.

It took plenty of planning and hard work to bring GloGreen into being and to now lead the market with a carbon offset offering that’s being awarded for its outstanding value is a well-deserved pat on the back for all of our people who have worked behind the scenes to make it happen.

It also gives us some welcome encouragement to keep doing what we’re doing.

Together with our unwavering determination to always offer exceptional value electricity and gas rates, the mission to further reduce our carbon footprint drives our dedicated team to keep doing our utmost.

Nobody said being an energy retailer would be easy, but we’ve always been up for the challenge!

The more customers that join our cause, the stronger our business becomes. This, in turn, empowers us to deliver on our mission of offering great value sustainable energy by putting us in a better position to work on ways to bring our costs down and pass on those savings.

We are still 100 per cent focused on providing as many consumers as possible with excellent value and great customer service from our Melbourne headquarters.
